We built our custom home at 6015 Pacific Overlook Drive in Neskowin in 2016. We found this quaint little town with this immaculate community a few years ago and it was perfect for us. It was far enough away from the city to feel and hear the calm of the ocean without interference from the noise of the city but close enough to be able to enjoy that environment if we choose. The Hills of Neskowin is quiet and well maintained. Every homeowner takes great pride in their homes and you can see this as you walk through the neighborhood.
The unobstructed 180 degree ocean view that we enjoy from almost every room, isbreathtaking. Our home sits on almost two acres with a year-round stream running through the back of the property. We love the smell of the crystal clean air as we walk our property. Adjacent to our home is a buildable lot of .59 acres which we have included with our home. Per the Homeowner CC&Rs, no one can take the primary view of
the homes.
As you enter the home through custom etched glass double doors, you will see the beautiful teak hardwood floors throughout the first floor of the home. The living room hosts a beautiful floor to ceiling 19 foot stone fireplace with custom bookshelves.
Our home hosts a gourmet kitchen with high-end Viking appliances, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a large island with sink and Wolf steamer. All cabinets are soft-close and custom cherry wood with custom cabinet inserts. This kitchen is a chef’s dream kitchen. There is granite throughout with subway backsplash tile and a custom stainless steel backing at the range. There is a large walk-in pantry with a custom etched door. Off the kitchen is a family room area.
There is a large laundry room with custom cherrywood cabinets, granite counter and stainless steel sink. The laundry room also has an in-wall ironing board as well as extra storage area. This room also has a custom etched glass door.
The first floor has two large bedrooms with large closet areas. The bathroom is very large and has a custom tiled shower with a bath, cherrywood cabinets and granite along with heated tile floors. There is also a large linen closet. The first floor also has a large coat closet and another half bath.
There is an office area on the second floor as well as a sitting area to enjoy the beautiful ocean view. The Master retreat has custom etched glass double doors and is extra large with a fireplace, large walk-in closet and a beautiful custom tiled bathroom with an extra large custom shower, a Bain Ultra Therapeutic tub, granite counter tops, double sinks and a large make-up area and heated tile floors.
There is copper insulated piping, soundproof insulation, solid core doors and Baldwin rustproof doorknobs throughout the home. There is also a whole-house fire sprinkler system which helps save on insurance.
The outside of the home has all stainless steel or galvanized steel fixtures. The outside of the home has a 30 year material/15 year paint on the Hardy Shingle siding. The three car oversized garage has quiet close garage doors. There is also a main house generator and duel heat pumps/air conditioning.
